~Crystals~ Smithsonite

Smithsonite blue green

This little beauty I picked up at Mother Earth Gallery. (Remember she has sound on her site so you may want to mute your device before clicking on it.)

Here are the details and why I needed this stone. It was the only specimen they had left so I was lucky she put it aside for me. As you read what this stones properties are (This info is from The Crystal Bible) you will understand why it was so important to me to have. (It has to do with my being DID/MPD. Comments in (parentheses) are ours where needed.) I am not putting everything here from the book, just the parts that resonate with me. If you want to read more about this stone or others, there are many links online but you can also just buy the book if you want to… I definitely recommend it.

Smithsonite:

Smithsonite

Attributes:  Smithsonite is a stone of tranquility, charm, kindness and favorable outcomes. It has an extremely gentle presence and forms a buffer against life’s problems. It is the perfect stone for releasing stress that is almost at breaking point and for alleviating mental breakdown. (I am at a crossroads as well as at my breaking point… did you ever want or need to cry your eyes out but you’re already so cried out there seem to be no tears left, no hope left, no nothing?)

This stone is ideal for anyone who has had a difficult childhood and who felt unloved or unwanted. (I was loved, my childhood was not devastating but at some point in my childhood we shattered into The Collective and I – Diana – still don’t know why. However I felt unloved and unwanted and that I could never do anything “right”.) Smithsonite heals the inner child and alleviated the effects of emotional abuse and misuse (There was a lot of that in my teen years and as I got older… but I got wiser. Not family, but other things caused that abuse.) It is gentle, dissolving emotional hurt subtly. Its effects are noticed in feeling better rather than in traumatic emotional release. (I don’t think I could stand another emotional release lol) This is an excellent crystal for rebirth. (I am going through that rebirthing process as we speak.)

Emotionally, Smithsonite aids difficult relationships. This stone imparts harmony.

Healing: Good for a dysfunctional immune system, sinus and digestive disorders… (remember, for more details, you’ll have to get the book. There is more information there.)

Position: Place as appropriate or carry always. (Me, I carry it always if possible.)

Specific Colors:  Specific colors of Smithsonite have additional properties. You can see those above in the picture… mine is Blue/Green

Blue/Green Smithsonite — heals emotional and other wounds by bringing in universal love. Gently releasing anger, fear, and pain, it balances the energy field between etheric and emotional bodies, and eases panic attacks (I have a lot of panic attacks). It also assists in attaining the heart’s desire and promotes friendship.

I think you can see why someone like me would be drawn to this stone. It has so many properties that I need in my life right now and I will carry it always – except for when I cleanse it of course. lol

I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you ❤

~ Crystals ~

I figure if I tell you all about the crystals I have aquired over the past years it will also help me to remember their uses and properties. I get my information from a few places, the first being “The Crystal Bible” by Judy Hall. It’s a great book with lots of information. I also get information from Laura and China (as well as Laura’s son) down at Talisman in Monroe Ct.  Another source of information is Jane Russo and her Spirit Brother Lou… you can find her on Meetup under All-Ways Enrich Your Spirit. (She is also my Reiki Master.) Oh, and I also have “The Crystal Experience” by Judy Hall as well. If you look up The Crystal Bible from the Crystal Bible link above you may find information on that book as well. I don’t work or promote or expect you to go running to get the books, just that I like Barnes and Noble. Their site is good for giving information on books before you buy them. lol I use it like a library, I grab some books that I think I want and grab a chair and go through them and usually buy something. Not these days though. The newest place I found thanks to Laura of Talisman is Mother Earth Mining Company in Brookfield Ct. (She has music when her site opens so you may want to turn your volume down prior to clicking on the link.)

Before I posted any crystals I have (or may want to get) I wanted to give a brief overview of this category. This way you know where my information is coming from and the sources can be verified. I look at a select few web sites as well that provide information too.

If you find an issue with any of the links I post, please let me know so I can fix it.
