~Crystals~ Moonstone

I have no idea where I came across this Moonstone, I’ve had it for years and only found out what it was a few years ago. It’s more flat that the picture makes it look. Here is some information again from The Crystal Bible and what it means for me. If you want the entire description, you know what I’m going to say… go check out the book!

Moonstone Info

Don’t bother trying to wipe the cat fur off your screen, Coco my little darling decided to sit on the book right as I was trying to take the picture. lol (Yes, I have tried to wipe it off a couple of times already DOH!)

Attributes:  Moonstone is a “stone of new beginnings”.  As its name suggests, it is strongly connected to moon and to the intuition. Like the moon, the stone is reflective and reminds us that, as the moon waxes and wanes, so everything is a part of a cycle of change. It’s most powerful effect is that of calming emotions. (Yup, this one will be in my bra today…)

Moonstone makes conscious the unconscious and promotes intuition and empathy. It encourages lucid dreaming, especially at the time of the full moon.

Psychologically, Moonstone calms overreactions to situations and to emotional triggers. Moonstone is  filled with receptive, passive, feminine energy. Emotionally, Moonstone soothes the emotional instability and stress, and stabilizes the emotions.

There is so much more info in the book as well as online… so we move on.

Moonstone helps the digestive and reproductive systems, assimilates nutrients, eliminates toxins and fluid retention. It also alleviates degenerative conditions of skin, hair, eyes, fleshy organs such as the liver and pancreas.

Moonstone can be worn as a ring or places on the appropriate body part.

My moonstone is a milky cream color. The one that the book says is white doesn’t look anything close to white lol. I like the part about emotional triggers because with having DID, there are a lot of triggers and some that I am not even aware of but can feel the effect from. Yup, my Moonstone will be carried around today until tonight when it will replace one of the stones I have in my pillowcase.
